This is about the time I wish our country would get its head out of its ass and (re)install regional rail so I could take the train down the Eastern Shore rather than drive. And have a dog car so dogs larger than 20lbs can ride.

This got me thinking….how do we as a society normalize pumpkin pie as a breakfast option at restaurants year round? Who will be the change we want to see in the world?
It turns out Mina and I have identical pie takes (literally had home made pumpkin pie for breakfast this morning before kids woke up).

My CM knows if RCV had been in effect for the last Ward election he wouldn’t have won. Now wants to avoid a mayoral race without it? Sir. The people have spoken.
NEWS: Ward 7 Councilmember Wendell Felder is introducing emergency legislation that would delay ranked-choice voting, which is currently set to be rolled out in D.C. in 2026. His bill would mandate that Board of Elections conduct an assessment on what it would need to implement RCV.

There are now two trailers within the fence with metal mesh over the windows and some kind of generator (maybe for lighting)? Gonna ask my ANC rep to look into it because it’s not giving off good vibes at all.
A fenced-in area with privacy fabric went up in the lower lot at The Fields and there are a bunch of brand-new looking SUVs parked next to it. Nothing on EventsDC's site about it, in the current climate, it feels creepy and ominous.
