He's out of vet jail.
Now that he's home we keep him on the medication that they started, and we wait a week before checking his liver enzymes again, hoping that the continued downward trend continues.

Moose are a lot more gregarious that you might think. They do form friendships, certain moose will be hanging out more than others. It's a loose herd with animals maybe 1/4 to 1/2 mile apart. IMHO they subvocalize to stay in touch and that's another reason for the antler shape
