The tables are littered with prompts and helpful guides along with all the supplies anyone could need.

Last night it was packed with all type of zinesters and set by Chubby Bird (with a zine of their lyrics so we could follow along).

My wife has wonderful memories of going to Storybook Glenn in Aberdeen Scotland in the 80s.

Every picture of every character she has shown me looks like this.

More nonsense tomorrow (and a snappy poster by the awesome folks at the Homer Library.)

Discovered my new motto at my comics class in Homer today. Making choose your own adventure comics with this being the ultimate win.

Art table at Bosco’s not-a-comic-con was a big success. Little folks sitting for hours doodling away.

I’m just going around giving free classes and making comics for the rest of the month. Come join me.

It’s summer and time for free comics classes at every Anchorage Library branch all July (and a wee, tiny bit of June).

All ages. All abilities. All free!

I just found this on display at The Dirty Skillet in Hope, Ak.

I'm getting the word out about the Alaska Bookmobile's art camp. There are 10 spots left and they are pay what you can.
If you know any kids between 10 and 16 who are looking for some summer art fun, let them (and their parents) know so they can register!

Most definitely. It’s a Spenard saga (and one of my favorite old illustrations). We’re still waiting for it to finished being refirbished and reinstalled. www.alaskasnewssource.com/2021/05/08/m...

Can’t anyone say it is true love unless that love is commemorated with a plaque of the very highest quality?

Sir, they cannot.

@anchistorian.bsky.social Someone reached out to me to check if I had seen this wild (and from first blush casually and broadly racist) comic on the Alaskan Economy. I have not.

Do you know when/where/why this was made? They just gave me these three photos.

It really is a gift to be able to bomb in, meet a bunch of random kids who are strangers to themselves and leave an hour later with a pile of the weirdest, most fun and uninhibited comics I’ve ever seen. Then do it again and again.

Final class for spring session at Mt. View Library.
Prompt: let us guess your mystery emotion.

I had a fantastic comics class at the Chugiak-Eagle River library.

I rarely get teens showing up, but I had a big group of returning kids today, so we did some weird activities using comics about food. Best unappreciated food: Chocolate cucumbers (in theory only).
