It’s not supposed to be a business model. It should be a combination of its past service model (subsidized in part by taxes) and revenue generation with the labor protections of unions.
Also it shouldn’t be hollowed out to skeleton staffing. Information is a right and USPS is a primary agent of it.

Husband and I saw a tragedy happen in Baltimore today while walking through Fells. A guy was riding a rented bike with a whole large pizza in his lap. 4 slices slipped out, he dropped the box, then hit the brakes too hard, which tossed him over the handlebars. He landed on the back of a parked car.
