A robin sings his heart out in the strawberry tree in my garden. Thank you for the music, little one 🎶

I'm not normally a fan of hybrid tea roses, but Chandos Beauty has bewitched me. The blooms are big, blousy and highly fragrant.

What a treat it was to have the Moon visit a church in our town recently. It was awe-inspiring and rather thought provoking. She's back up in the sky now 😉

May meadows with buttercups and bluebells, both white and blue. There's something about meadows that fills my heart with joy ❤️

A stunning sea of bluebells near Fonthill Lake in Wiltshire. I've never seen so many in one place! 😍

I bought these reduced gf scones in #Waitrose. I thought £1.75 was pretty steep for two scones, but the original price was £2.60 😲 I'd love to know how they justify that price!

Good morning and happy #Caturday It's blowing a hoolie outside so Poppy won't be pottering around the garden today.

No snow so far today, but it's very cold and soggy. Poppy the cat's decision to hunker down under a blanket seems eminently sensible.

The scent released from a cut dahlia flower takes me right back to my parents' front garden in my early childhood. My dad loved dahlias and I remember looking up at these 'giants' towering over me when I was just three or four 😊

I bought a Christmas cactus from Morrisons the other day which is still just buds. A previous one I had would always flower in November. Could be down to light levels etc

Although it's downright weird to still be seeing bees and other insects in mid November, I'm glad the fatsia japonica in my garden is a food source for them 🐝🐝🐝

V true, while I desperately miss bread, gf cakes are as good as normal ones and I prefer gf pasta, but I'm struggling to make a decent gf scone. I tried a recipe without psyllium husk and the result was 🤢 Another did have it but also 4tsp of baking powder and was a bit 🤢 too. The search continues...
