band 1: ambassadors. changed their name to "X ambassadors" and removed Litost
band 2: bison. change their name to "the last bison" and removed Quill

if i had a nickel for every time a band i discovered in 2011 changed their name slightly, then made their best album unavailable online id have two nickels, which isnt a lot but its weird it happened twice.
