#OTD 30 November 1939 the Winter War started. Denmark did not officially support Finland but about 1,000 volunteers for the Finnish army arrived 1940, were trained and equipped, but arrived at the frontline too late. However, some arrived in time incl. 15 pilots . See thread below:
