My dad’s mind slipped into conspiracy theories. I stopped pushing back, just redirected the conversations. Then came the stroke—like his body gave out under the weight of it all.
Did it have to be this way? Losing someone before they’re gone is its own kind of grief.

The only people I would ever condone opposing forcefully are those who actively promote or seek to carry out genocide, such as Nazis. When someone’s ideology is rooted in the destruction of others, it leaves no room for peaceful dialogue, and decisive action becomes necessary to protect humanity.
