When I was a kid, my parents didn’t enforce seatbelts. They weren’t popular in our circles, or among many Americans when first introduced.

But they do save lives. Just like mRNA vaccines.

Sure glad Jay Bhattacharya wasn’t in charge of vehicle safety requirements back then!
