My favourite photo of Volodymyr Zelenskyy. I watched the President for a while before deciding to approach him. When he kneeled to tie his shoelace, I took a quickie for my sons to show them, that even heroes tie their laces by themselves. And something in the pic has grown on me.
🚨 A new MIT study found that students who used ChatGPT to write essays had the weakest brain activity — and struggled to recall what they wrote.
Sounds scary. But here’s what the study really says — and what others say differently.👇

In a world where many things will likely be redefined and many ways of thinking will be challenged, those who champion the creation of platforms for frank and open discussions deserve special recognition.

Watch Romania! One of the two pillars of NATO East Flank is shaking. Unexpectedly, nationalist candidate Georgescu, spreading anti-NATO & anti-EU narratives, is in the lead of the first round of presidential election. Parliamentary elections are in 7 days and the support for extremists looks scary.

During the briefing, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zakharova received a phone call and was asked not to comment on the strike on the Dnipro by an intercontinental ballistic missile.

But thanks to Masha's intelligence, "no one heard anything."

Robert Fico’s government seems to be filling out the forms to join “Autocracy Inc.”, as described by @anneapplebaum.bsky.social in her latest book. Gas deals, Russian propaganda, Chinese investments—Slovakia’s future is looking risky under his leadership. Let me explain what’s going on. A thread 🧵👇

Russia’s use of an ICBM armed with a conventional warhead against #Ukraine is a tepid attempt to inspire fear in the west. The only thing it should inspire is increased western support for Ukrainian air defense and long-range missile strikes against Russia.

Another example of why we need more mental health professionals to discuss Trump on media. Dr. Frank is a graduate of Harvard Medical School and a renowned psychotherapist, but any shrink could tell you this. And yet the media still discusses Trump in terms of what is normal.

Please don't call what RFK Jr. and Jay Bhattacharya are going to do medieval. It's not medieval. It's nothing like the Middle Ages. People in the Middle Ages were happy to try all kinds of things to not die of the plague and if you'd given them antibiotics and vaccines they would have loved it.

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, while having troubles to sustain majority in the parliament, keeps fighting against #civicsociety and #freemedia. His latest move involves creating specialised courts against journalists. Just another example of deconstruction of democratic principles in Slovakia.

1000 days

For 1000 days we consider it “usual news” to hear that a nuclear power is trying to steal land and resources from a neighbouring country.

For 1000 days already concentration camps and torture chambers became part of European reality again.
