It's for complex reasons. 1. Nobody remembers this except locals and military history nerds, 2. It didn't achieve much, mostly the line halted at just barely past the 1938 border. For example in Operation Silberfuchs the germans managed to advance to 46 kilometers from their starting 1/2

The finnish airforce used basically everything that flew. In the picture there is a Blackburn Ripon IIF, delivering mail in the south of Finland.

It goes from southern finland in the middle of the baltic sea to germany.
