I understand that a lot of folks have been misled by fear-mongering and powerful regressive voices but it’s still astonishing to me that so many have fallen for the idea that oppressively policing other people’s gender identity and expression could in any way be part of an enlightened future.

The ceasing of a venezuelan tanker just upped the ante. This is just a bully behavior by the US with the intent of gaining enormous control over the western hemisphere...the fact that other latin countries appear silent to this incursion speaks volumes to their complacent behavior...

I hope the Dems realize that if they extend the ACA subsidies, and take no other steps, they are giving carte blanche to the biggest insurance companies and major hospital systems to find new ways to game the system and increase costs.

Its sad that we exist at a time when violence perpetrated on camera does not meet condemnation or reprisals because it has been normalized, its even sadder that we are watching it alongside artificial intelligence.
