not the Green movement, at least not from my point of view. We need to keep zooming in on the dilemmas of today with different lenses, and maybe we'll better diagnose the problem.

Look at Ukraine-russia war, Or the Israel- palestine war... Incoming venezuela conflict, and a seemingly real taiwan incursion, most people are all-in over their heads on this race global race for power, there are new forms of bullying that will embolden colonialism...

but they are still faltering and that's not ideal. I also concur that colonialism is taking place today in new ways and Africa should not fall victim to these political games again, but weaponizing the green movement isn't the safest bet either.

and it still remains a key motivator that drives humanity to keep considering how best to reducing emissions and quell environmental degradation that keeps worsening everyday. China could have taken the mantle to spearhead efforts to a clean energy future after the US dropped out of the conversation

The green movement was an incentive to roll towards a clean energy future which if it was credibly executed, am sure the world would feel better than it is at the moment...

but that should not erode why it was even conceptualized in the first place. The threat of climate change as a result of catalyzed global warming is real... part of the first world is being incentivized to roll back measures against fossil fuel, which we know even though its a global powerhouse...

Its no secret that indeed, the ideals and execution of the required mandate has been hijacked by fraudulent people, government lobbyists with other intentions and people who see it as means of minting a lot of cash unjustly...

But I understood, Once you're bitten, the second time you'll shy away. The title IMO appears to be greenwashing the green movement... which to me feels like its flawed.
