Need to follow more shitposting accounts so my feed isn’t toooo political lol

I get the pushback to Bluesky in that it further bifurcates our media ecosystem. But at this point, Twitter’s content moderation is so nonexistent and its verified users so extreme that the choice becomes either move away from Twitter or be subjected to straight up 4chan nazi bile on a daily basis.

Remember new users are coming on daily, unsure of engagement. The more posts you like and reply to, the strong the platform becomes !

Just my 2 cents. But my goal is to ignore the trolls. Give them zero attention. Block them if they annoy me.

I think the worst thing we can do on this site is re-create the ad hominem/ personal attacks that occur across comments on Twitter/insta/tiktok/ etc

Not watching MSNBC or any other outlet that normalizes this administration whatsoever. Not participating in the bullsht.

It took me twelve years (!) to build up my audience on Twitter. It took 5 days to surpass the 50% point of my Twitter following on Bluesky. I’m hopeful that the overall growth on this site will negate the need to go on Twitter altogether. Sad to see what it devolved into, but thrilled to see it die.

Everyone should do their best to boost engagement here. Like (maybe even share) posts you typically wouldn’t. Need to convince larger accounts this platforms worth to stay. These next 2 weeks will be incredibly pivotal for the success of the app.
