the takeaway from the Soul Society & Fullbringer arcs is that Tite Kubo wants to write mysteries, but doesn't know how to do it without being able to say "actually that thing i showed clearly happening was an illusion created by a guy who can perfectly rewrite anyone's perception of reality"

after being in mental health/childcare for 4 years, the one thing i do kind of miss about the tech industry is having co-workers who could be counted on to at least read the TLDR at the top of an email & to Ctrl-F in a document to see if their question was already answered
