And yes, racism plays a big part in feeling entitled. He probably was weaned on “sunset rules” and an explicit credo of superiority.
But all cops tend to believe they have the right to roust someone simply because the law doesn’t go far enough, fast enough (and some people just deserve it.) 😤

I have seen this kind of interaction before.
He probably felt USC players took a cheap shot at someone on his fav team so he was “dispensing” a little rough justice to balance the scales/warn SC players this is his town, etc.
It’s a cop mindset that speaks to a certain, unspoken entitlement.

Any CBP (or ICE) who doesn’t like helping their fellow man can find work in sanitation. Or custodial maintenance. But they shouldn’t be allowed weapons or badges.
We don’t need aggressive bigots for what is essentially an administrative function. Ensuring folks are documented.

We need to retask the CBP. Instead of deporting people, we have to task them with ensuring they have decent living accommodations, aren’t being exploited by employers, and are getting help to naturalize.

See, we addicts understand that chocolate, like coffee, is a drug. So it’s less about the sweetness and more about the dose for us. Dark chocolate is replete with theobromine and not watered down like milk chocolate.
