People have forgotten the nightmare of assigned risk pools, and how any pre-existing condition meant you’d pay over a thousand per month for limited coverage. Nobody should ever be forced into risk pools again. Single-payer should have been instituted decades ago.

Stay safe, guys. The fires were by far the scariest, most nightmare-provoking thing for us about living in Southern California. We had go bags ready at all times. (So we moved to hurricane country. Genius.)

Blew through all of it by Saturday dinner. Almost ordered a turkey sub at Publix today before I caught myself. Can’t risk turkey overload.
