A Sunday morning in May 2004. The final 'The Premiership' airs on ITV. A montage of the invincible season is played accompanied by show song 'U2 - Beautiful Day'.

Simpler times, such memories, take me back.

18 - Aged 18 years and 176 days, Myles Lewis-Skelly is the youngest player in history to score on his senior England debut, surpassing Marcus Rashford's record of 18 years and 209 days v Australia in May 2016. Rise.

Since February Milkel Merino (4) has more goals than Jota, Nunez and Diaz combined (3). Yet Liverpool would not have been affected in the same way that Arsenal have if they lost 4/6 forwards according to some. 😂😂

I honestly reckon he should be investigated for spot fixing. He was trying to get a yellow card all game.
How the feck did Fofana not get sent off today?! FFS!

Wesley Fofana stamped on Declan Rice, caught Trossard on the shin with his studs, hauled him down to stop a counter attack and scythed down Lewis-Skelly at the edge of the box. No bookings.

But, when he threw a ball on the pitch, he was carded.

Technicalities over player safety. Incompetence. #AFC

If you’re looking for some Sunday viewing, here’s a highlight from Dennis Bergkamp’s 2006 testimonial.

Old pal Edgar Davids bursts through on goal, chips the keeper, and then gets needlessly shithoused by Gilles Grimandi.

Brings a tear to the eye.

For the next 5 games till the international break with the squad available should we reset to a new formation 3-4-2-1 or 3-2-3-2 to suit the players we have or stick to the 4-3-3. It’s hard to
Know whether to stick or twist.

Lads, us Arsenal fans need to take a step back from the ref conspiracy against Arsenal. They are bad but they are bad against 18/19 teams in the league

Stonewall red today. Red was poor not to give it in the 1st place. Raya a mile out, if MLS doesn’t take him down he has a goal scoring opportunity

Please RT: I was run over by a taxi on the north junction of London Bridge (in front of the Wolseley City) around 5.45pm this evening. Knocked off my bike.

There were a lot of witnesses. If you saw it, please get in touch.

I’m gone from faith to hope to now nervous… a win at the weekend would be massive. West Ham a bit of a bogie team for us. First team to beat us at the Emirates and 2-0 last year. Then a tough away trip to Forest!!!! A massive 3 weeks for our season coming.

I watched the Arsenal game with the tv at volume 23. Our number 23 scored our 2 goals. When I went to listen to the instant reaction today it had 23 comments. I know this will probably only be of interest to myself, Jim Carey and @gunnerblog.bsky.social but anyway here ya go.

I had a dream last night that Calafiori was playing up front for Arsenal and scoring and assisting. Now the game was also been played at Highbury. Make of that what you will!!!

Summer is gonna be busy (hopefully) with ins, outs and renewals

Out- Neto, Tierney, Partey, Jorginho Sterling

Possible- Zinchenko, Trossard, Tomi, Kiwior

That means Ins will include;
GK, CBx2, CMx2, LW, RW and CF.

We need a minimum of 6 ins/promotions and possibly 8/9 for proper squad cover.

Is there anything to be said for a new league restructure.

Prem 18
Championship 20 or 22
League one 20 or 22 teams
League two 20 or 22 teams
League 3 20 or 22 teams.

Would increase league status from 92 to 98 or 108.

Would it work?

Just when I count ourselves out I drag myself back in.

Could we…. will we… can we….

If only we had a fit front line I’d be highly confident.

What do we actually do up front for the next 4 weeks? Sterling- Trossard- Nwaneri can only do so much game time before they break down.

Do we throw youth at it like brining in Butler-Oyedeji, Kabia and Sagoe Jr or do we repurpose players Odegaard and Merino at 9, Tierney from the left.
