Some photo 📸, some politic (sorry for politic) 🗳️, trying to chuckle the pain away and get outside more often.
I grew up in a relatively dark countryside area, but going to an actual stargazing area where its DARK, you can see so much, even with my glasses-wearing ass.

This was taken in Coopers Rock State Forest, WV; 28mm/f4 @ 10s exposure. It was amazing to see in person.

AI is just going to pump out non-stop Groverhaus-type dwellings.

Made some cavatappi the other night and dropped one on the floor, so I chucked it out the window as one normally does; next day I managed to catch this #cardinal picking it up out of the yard and I do believe this #bird was actually psyched to have pasta for dinner. It was BYO sauce, though.

I was just there a few years ago. That place is so nice.

Unscientific, but you can just see it, assuming that point is the "closest" African point; even if not, Maine is closer to the same point.

I love that this is a quote in PCGamer about the cube.

The print version of @theonion.com has been a welcome highlight this year. A lot of chuckling and some downright laughter every time a new one shows up in the mailbox. Something fun to actually look forward to every month.

Tonight's #photography walk around the neighborhood featured #mourningdoves, a family of #deer getting their #Sears portrait #photo, and a #blackbird of some nature caught in the nick of time. 📸

From 7 months ago. His face has been weirdly droopy since at least last summer. Here, it's the same side, like he can't squint that eye or open the side of the mouth. Factor in he also basically went dead-leg trying to get in that garbage truck and I think it's obvious of something.

Got a new 50mm vintage lens, so I took a walk around the neighborhood this evening while it was cool out. Felt good; been too complacent.

Can concur; the moon the last few nights has been quite spectacular. Tonight it was quite bright just over the treetops while we had a post-rainy day damp haze hanging out at ground level.

"intuitively"

The deplorable comment cut them so deeply because it turned out to be deeply accurate.

You have been blessed with 1 (one) FREE timeline cleanser visit from a plump Mourning Dove on an electrical insulator.

It was muggy out this evening, post-rain...

The latter. It's quite good when it's done right.

Went to see Sinners last night, and had a good #sunset happening over yonder. I have to say, it's been really pretty™️ out this spring.

Been testing out the new-to-me Sigma 150-500mm zoom and caught a Song Sparrow on the line the other day, singing in the afternoon sunshine. Rock on, little dude.
