There is so many planetary genocides in 40k though, fertile ground for both your areas of expertise.

No degree needed as such, but a good rule of thumb is as the angle of the cleavage approaches horizontal it becomes less likely to have been practical everyday peasant apparel and more likely to be a BDSM thing.

It's unclear whether that's good or bad - after going to many ren fairs when I was younger my memory is a confusing mix of not being carded for mulled wine, heat stroke, historically inaccurate cleavage everywhere, watching jousting followed by watching paramedics treat the jousters.

I don't know if it's going to help, fingers crossed, but as a guy I can say this is a fantastic present and now I'm bummed my kids haven't got me various cubes

I know you think you're being clever, a canny political operator, but jesus christ, you're still operating like it's 2015.

You're really not the man for the moment, are you? It's too late to do anything about your legacy, but at least you could stand up for once.

I was going to tepidly defend them by saying that it's from an FDR speech, but I misremembered - that was "Arsenal of Democracy - so yeah it's yet another case of these idiots either misunderstanding or thinking they're funny by ironically naming things after sci-fi and fantasy bad things.

Disclosure - still on Twitter for the time being but using it less and less. I have a few non-chud friends/orgs that I interact with there that have to use it or don't want to leave because "then the nazis win" (I appreciate the sentiment, but that battle was lost as soon as Elon bought it).

It's great though - you never know each day whether your feed will be filled with horrific crimes, crypto scams, AI shills talking about how it's superior to real art (comments full of unironic "grok, make this person naked") and recently a tsunami of linkedin style wank-posts.

Or all of the above
January 9, 2026 at 8:37 PM
Pretty much, yeah. 2 out of 3 aint bad though.

Two of the three kids anyway - the third thought the rest of it was shit and they should have been hour-long cryptozoos instead.

Unfortunately I don't still have it, otherwise I'd send it as some sort of memorabilia.

Great work though, the kids loved it too

Had to get my daughter a laptop for high school, found a great deal on an amazing convertible one with a touchscreen and stylus for art.

It has a dedicated AI button for no good reason, and the OS was almost unusably slow until I spent hours hunting down and disabling everything to do with copilot.

Congratulations guys, it was a great podcast. I was a quiet listener ever since Dan bailed up me and my wife maybe 15 years ago at a Jay & Silent Bob live show in the valley I think, yelling and waving business cards in my face in a threatening manner.

Thanks for the funny, science and ignorance.
