Apropos of nothing in particular, the Death Of Stalin is a great movie

I was wondering when it was going to feel like a Brisbane summer, it's been pretty nice lately.

Then I walk outside and all of a sudden it's nearly 40C at 5pm and everything is apparently on fire, smoke everywhere.

So everything is back to normal then

Took my dad for a drive in a T72 today, the only one he's been in had holes in it.

I thought the 5'9 height limit was a myth but - being a fair bit taller than the average Soviet conscript - my legs don't bend enough to squeeze past the periscope jammed into my crotch.

10/10 fun
0/10 ergonomics

The North Koreans like strapping ATGM and SAM's to their tanks, so that part is pretty normal.

Found a rear view that I think is a similar model - looks like you're right, they are likely APS radars (red), but are much larger than previous models. APS launchers seem to have moved to the top (blue)

Saw and commented on this on Twitter first, but I already got hit by a bunch of bot DM's for doing it so will copy/paste here instead...

I want to know what these are (see picture)...

I love how EVERY TIME Trump is utterly shocked to discover that other countries have agency and not only can but will retaliate.

Good job America, not only has he been giving himself the powers of one, but it's not even a month in and he's already calling himself King.

You gave away your wealth, power and freedom for nothing, and you're not getting it back.

Did you think everyone was lying about how dangerous it was?

Ok I'm glad my crappy little 2005 Hyundai is so mechanically insensitive that it will run for a full year without oil (I inadvertently tested this), but my god the interior is entirely made of paper mache. Those rods are now my door handle for the next few days
