Today, USAID shuts down.

Experts say this could lead to 14 million deaths by 2030—including 4.5 million babies and children under 5.

Let’s not forget, Trump recently let a warehouse full of food aid rot rather than feed the hungry.

This isn’t America first. It’s America heartless.

Dave McCormick just cast the deciding vote for this BS bill that raises costs of health care, food and utilities, and leaves Pennsylvanians to die.

The bill now goes to the House where PA’s GOP delegation will decide its fate. Call and let them know how you feel at 202-224-3121.

Birth defects often occur randomly

Abortion for birth defects is illegal in many states

Now government support for birth defects is severely curtailed

So a healthy person could have a birth defect, be forced to carry to term, then left to the wolves.

If you have a relationship with local media, use it now!

These issues are hard to explain but critical for your neighbors to understand, looking at you Birmingham, St Louis, Philly, Baltimore, San Diego etc
Local traditional media still works!

We shot this interview on the grounds of the former J&L steel mill, where buildings including my lab are today. The threat to biomedical research in Pittsburgh is on par with the threat to the mills 50 years ago.

Pittsburgh researcher warns NIH cuts could harm patient care, economic growth
Pittsburgh's economy once relied heavily on the steel industry, which lined Second Avenue with miles of mills. When that industry collapsed, medicine and education filled the economic void.
