I just learned this amazing trick --- H/T /u/CocktailPerson on the rust subreddit:

play.rust-lang.org?version=stab...

you get fast dyn compile times in debug builds, but monomorphization and static dispatch in release builds 🤯!

In school, you probably learned that human cells have 46 chromosomes, which is 2 copies of 23 chromosomes, sometimes called 'diploid' or '2n'.

Got ViralMSA, FastTree, and Newick-Utilities working now as well! This tree was constructed completely on the device (MSA + tree inference) 😄 I think this is a good stopping point; time to play some video games 🎮 Merry Christmas! 🎄

Just 10 days after o1's public debut, we’re thrilled to unveil the open-source version of the technique behind its success: scaling test-time compute

By giving models more "time to think," Llama 1B outperforms Llama 8B in math—beating a model 8x its size. The full recipe is open-source!

It's the weekend, time to finally relax! Maybe with a small 🧩?

You are given an array of n (distinct) numbers, with the promise that it is either sorted or *significantly* unsorted: to sort it, at least 10% of the entries must be moved. Which case is it?

Give a (randomized) algo for that. #TCSSky
