Another recruiter call this morning.

Admission that Rachel Reeves didn't inspire much confidence, Budget was making people nervous and there's just little demand for hiring atm broadly speaking.

Some good news. We need to see many more rich or powerful people jailed who, like him. abuse their power & cause great harm.

Musk, Trump, Putin, Netanyahu, Murdoch, Bannon, Farage, Streeting, Rothermere...

Those who punch down in their abuse of power, in particular, need to be held to account.

Budget jitters are one of the big things making job hunting take that bit longer, based on chats with recruiters lately.

Had a promising call about something yesterday. Fingers crossed it leads somewhere 🤞

Saw a one-night only musical last night, 'Roam'

Had a great cast, I think the show would just need refining if it were to be on West End for a proper run.

Why else would it suggest ceding additional land to Russia? Seemed pretty obvious
Stunning development: Senators now confirm the Trump admin’s 28-point “peace plan” for Ukraine wasn’t a U.S. plan at all. It was a Russian wish list. Follow along. This is crazy. 1/

For a disturbingly long time, some people were suggesting we just do what Sweden did.

Was a different country, much smaller population spread out in a less densely populated way and different health care system. But still they did.
We the shitposters of the UK were saying at the time that lockdown was too late, some of us were already working from home. But no he insisted the Cheltenham Festival (March 10-13) and Liverpool v Madrid (March 11) went ahead. Meanwhile on March 12 the subservient press were briefed thus:

It's WILD that, in All's Fair Ep.2, a woman takes her own life due to financial woes, and the next scene is literally the main cast talking about it while swigging champage on a private jet...on the way to a jewellery auction.

It finally happened. One month into the job hunt, and I had an early-morning negative doom loop spiral, lots of intrusive thoughts. Was honestly the worst.

So difficult when your own brain starts working against you like that.
