You should do the work without TST and somewhere else.

Just beware that back when I was a member of TST WA, at least once the donations sat in somebody’s shed for literal months and I still don’t know if they actually made it to the shelters. And that’s not including that TST is just a bullshit, scam of an organization overall.

I think “needs therapy” is too generous. Therapy wouldn’t work on him, it would just make him more effective at manipulation. After reading “Why Does He Do That?” by Lundy Bancroft I have realized the only thing that will stop men like Misicko are consequences he can’t shirk or ignore.

I’m not entertaining excuses anymore. I look forward to reclaiming my time spent filling out legal paperwork, speaking to advocates, preparing for the worst, sleepless nights, and the full time job of self-advocacy.

All these studies were done to see if things like socioeconomic status, employment, upbringing, trauma, race, gender, etc (the list goes on) could correspond to a greater likelihood of active violent threat. Nothing connected domestic abusers in this statistic except one thing. Victim’s intuition.
