"13. Red Dwarf - Just the Shows DVD Box Set, 1988-1999, is priced at £150."

I'm sure it is priced at £150, probably on a dusty shelf in some quaint collectables shop being run by an absolute chancer.

No matter, I still believe in you Tracy Martin and

Bally Casino. Seriously?

Maybe the article is referring to the DVD partwork set as being "£350 on average". Let's check eBay.

£100.

Tops.

If you're bloody lucky.

No worries, I'm sure it's just an honest mistake and the other 14 DVDs on the list will all be worth big bucks...

"The Carry On Film Collection takes the top spot for being the most valuable. A complete box set of films from the much-loved British comedy series can command around £350 on average."

Wow! If a supposedly "complete" set (Columbus counts, folks!) is worth £350, I bet CeX will be offering big... oh

Bear in mind it took 3 journalists to write - and presumably fact check - this article. The first is ostensibly a Daily Express travel journalist (okay?), the second an editor at Liverpool Echo, and the third a Yorkshire Live editor with a very unfortunate name of which I am sure he is well aware.

OK I'll bite...

What, pray tell Yorkshire Live, are these 15 highly desirable UK DVD titles that have significantly appreciated in value over the years?

You might want to make a cup of tea, mainly because it's a better use of your time than reading this thread.

Didn't expect to see a clip from The Faceless Ones episode three on the Six O'Clock News today...

Just grabbed the new DWM on my way to work. Looks like some great stuff in there, but I was most eager to read their review of the Season 13 Blu-ray...

...but there isn't one?

There is, however, a brief, generic mention of AI ("creative people are using it as a powerful tool") in the letters page.

Watching BBC2's Girlbands Forever. I was a lowkey fan of girl groups in the late '90s - not something a teenage lad at a rough North Manchester school would readily admit to - so plenty of nostalgia for me here.

The descriptive captions whenever Easther Bennett sings are a bit weird though.

Nothing on this planet can make me belly laugh quite as hard as Beavis And Butt-Head... huh huh, I said hard.

Not saying anticipation is low, but today I discovered an official trailer for the catchily-titled* THE WAR BETWEEN THE LAND AND THE SEA dropped on 31st May.

152 days ago, and I had no idea. And I'm a massive #DoctorWho nerd.

*come on guys, "The Lives And Loves Of A Sea Devil" was *right there*

I know barely anyone cares about Big Brother anymore but I'm amazed how ITV, a channel supposedly committed to encouraging mental wellness, are hell bent on enabling this wretched, immature 56 year old woman in her relentless bullying of a 60 year old man in the name of supposed entertainment

I just realised... sad to think they've both left us within the space of a month.

Bidding a fond farewell to Prunella Scales today.

Recently watched her in Mr Big, the rarely seen 1977 BBC sitcom about a family of incompetent criminals, made between series of Fawlty Towers. She was by far the best thing about it, often the case where Prunella Scales was concerned. RIP

I actually said it's probably fairest not to judge still frames taken from moments of rapid movement, as that is where AI would likely struggle the most.

Here's the specific shot that set alarm bells ringing when the YouTube trailer dropped. To my eyes, it just looks unnatural.

Since yesterday's AI chat I've had a few requests/questions about what happened to all my old YouTube videos - God knows why - so I've just made (most of) them public again to avoid repeating myself. I'll probably take some back down again once I've settled on my long term plans.

So yeah, go nuts.

I don't own a 4K Blu-ray player. This may have to change.

Foolishly decided not to order the Dr Who Season 13 Blu-ray online cos my missus is away and I didn't want to risk it arriving on release day and being left on the doorstep by the postie. Naturally everyone seems to have received it on Saturday and HMV/Fopp haven't got any stock instore. Deep joy.
