They really gave $150 million to hire the dumbest, least competent news producer in the history of television

Re: the clip where Joe Rogan catches Bari Weiss in a nonsensical lie about Tulsi Gabbard, using phrases she can’t define…

you understand that letting Joe Rogan catch you in a lie is like letting your dog lock you out of the house, right? Right??

Bari Weiss is programmed to do everything in service of oligarchy and to malfunction in the form of whiny think pieces when people push back. Rewarding her mediocrity has led to where we are and fuck this.

one thing i love about college football is that you can locate the least consequential game of the day, between two schools you barely knew existed, and there will be grown men on television in the stands ready to kill themselves if it goes the wrong way

I truly believe that we won't be able to fix the economy until we can get both workers and bosses to understand that $100,000 is no longer rich person money. So many peoples' sense of economic awareness is based on the 90s/2000s and never seems to update.
Green wrote that he “felt sick” when he recently learned how HHS calculates the poverty line: three times the cost of food for a family in 1963, adjusted for inflation every year. (HHS cites it as roughly 32K rn.)

An investor called $140,000 the new poverty line. Experts disagreed but said he had a point.
Michael Green’s tally of the costs of raising a family in the U.S. today is going viral, even if some economists scoff at his math.

I can explain almost all current events via that clip of Patrice O’Neal talking about how white people love the song Creep.

A Republican senatorial candidate and a single mother from the Bronx have three separate conversations about Richard Nixon in Maid in Manhattan (2002). It somehow works.

Reviewing Maid in Manhattan (2002) right now and so far, I’m very confused why a 10 year old boy from the Bronx is obsessed with Richard Nixon. This is a real plot point.

Buckle up. The crowd that brought you "Fifteen is too young to transition" and "Fifteen is too young to terminate a rape baby" is about to bring you "Well, now, actually, fifteen year olds, historically, were married with children by now, so you know, it's not really pedophilia..."

Maybe Don’t Talk to the New York Times About Zohran Mamdani

I'm Jewish, I was born in New York City. My grandparents were immigrants from Europe. My grandfather opened a kosher dairy restaurant in lower Manhattan. Jonathan Greenblatt from the ADL is a bigot who doesn't speak for me. Congratulations, Mayor Mamdani!

Never thought I’d hear Eugene Debs quoted by a mayor on TV. I’m crying. Mamdani, I’m crying.

“The ADL, who famously defended two sieg heils…” is all anyone should say anymore.
It took the ADL like four days to respond to Nick Fuentes breaking into the mainstream last week

Given the vitriol he’s endured for the past six months, I think Mamdani should be allowed to punch two people in the face tonight. Just two. His pick.

The last month of the anti-Mamdani campaign was an absolutely shameful undertaking, an attempt to rip the city and Democratic coalition apart and I'm very happy to see it failed.
