Especially if you're a recent graduate who has received "Sorry, we went with another candidate" letters from dozens of prospective employers in a row whose HR managers wouldn't know "entry-level" if it bit them.

Chicken without legs, like Zuzie Q. from the Weebles cartoon

I've read that a newborn human child's head size is constrained by balancing fitting through the mother's pelvis ("cephalopelvic disproportion") with ability to run. If human descendants evolve to scoot on hands and bottom (see video), the pelvis can become as wide as it needs to be to pass baby.

The species as a whole has 2 legs and 2 sexes. Some individuals diverge from what is typical, and it's wrong to discriminate against them. Yet governments accommodate people with no legs (ADA and foreign counterparts) while discriminating against people with some DSDs (bathroom bills).

If our descendants had no legs, like the children from the Weebles cartoon, they'd also have a hole at the bottom of the skull. That's more an "upright" thing than a "bipedal" thing.

I had never heard of Cupcakes until last night, and today I discovered that someone made a wiki about original Cupcakes by Tonka/Kenner and Cupcake Surprise by Sunny Days. 🐰🕳️

Cupcake Surprise
Cupcake Surprise are scented princess dolls. They look just like a beautifully decorated cupcake until you transform them into a pretty princess. Each cupcake surprise princess doll comes with her...

Slightly eldritch when you consider they'd be walking around, all hoop-skirty, then BAM the bottom half is inside out and there was NOTHING IN THERE.

They are an upper body on a cupcake wrapper

How do they exist?

Should they exist?

Why are they IN THE HOUSE

I'm imagining a person with no legs (think 1987 or 2016 Weebles) sitting in a hovercraft that uses the skirt as its air cushion. Eventually the hovercraft runs out of power, and she needs to fold it back up and recharge before moving again.

This is how the slimes from those role-playing games must feel

I remember a Weebles episode where Winston told a scary story called "He Who Fell". A man wobbled to the hardware store by himself, bought a jar of paste, tripped over the curb while carrying it home, got stuck in the paste, and wasn't rescued for quite a while.

Nobody in modern tech is satisfied with building A Thing that Works and then just... letting it be.

So close to calling it a disease at this point.

Wind shear, a difference in wind velocity over a short distance in the atmosphere, can cause a hot-air balloon to pick up non-negligible airspeed as it moves from a region with one velocity to a region with another.
