When it comes to talking about cats... sometimes I wonder if the internet has flattened out the slang, or if my words are severely regional/familial. Did anyone else never use what you see most often online? Some of my examples are just generic but i never saw the cutesier alternatives until later

I am playing Uma Musume on a tablet. on the training screen, instead of a kemonomimi horse girl, a "centaur" alien, the main character from the webcomic "Runaway to the Stars", stands in a school uniform. In my dream, it was normal that she was there and she worked like every other career mode character. and was very fast.

Uma Musume. Super Creek is shallow and creepy and makes my trainer feel disrespected. Taiki Shuttle however, is even shallower and the world's most perfect abomination of my culture.

[[DELTARUNE CH4 SPOILERS]] I was trying to think about why the darkners contemplating their "ancestors" was juxtaposed on top of the scene of Susie hurrying around all the prophecy glass images. I think it's because these "ancestors" are frozen in stone, but at the same time it's impossible for these observers to have the full picture. They can only guess at the true meaning of what they're given, the "other side", another angle from another perspective, is invisible to them. The prophecy is the same. It's also, crucially, made of glass.
