I teach virtually in the evening ... after being home with two small children all day ... Some nights I can feel my brain slowly turning off and I have to really fight to keep some semblance of executive function as I'm supposed to be something of an authority on my subject (French) 🫠

I obviously don't think like, random doctors and nurses are conspiring to harvest organs from otherwise healthy people, but as with everything else, capitalism is a scourge on healthcare and if there's a way to make money, however immorally, corporations will do it
