For those following the story of unidentified men violently dragging a protester from a local Idaho GOP meeting, it turns out they were from a private security firm called LEAR Asset Management. But neither the sheriff (who watched it all go down) or the GOP will take responsibility for hiring them.

The United States Military Academy has just eliminated all Cadet clubs and activities for POC. Most of these have existed for decades like the Society of Black Engineers. They were there when I was a Cadet in 1987. All of the religious ones remain. This isn’t DEI. It’s white Christian Nationalism.

My baseline of anxiety is a lot higher than it used to be.
If I am understanding myself correctly, this is a major flare of CPTSD because I do not feel safe.
I literally barely feel safe in my own apartment, leaving the house feels almost disabling.
One hour at a time, it's not tomorrow yet.

But #Congress established USAID in statute, and Trump can't unilaterally override a statute by executive order.

I am on the SAMHSA website right now trying to download what I can, but about half requires a log in.
