It's Jasper's 1 year gotchaversary. Onyx's is in a few days. When I adopted them, the shelter hadn't had the chance to get them neutered yet, so I had to wait for them to get fixed before they could actually come home. So, they're brothers that I adopted together, but they have different gotcha days

Jasper would like to enter in the Shrimp pose division. He would also like to know if there's a miscellaneous category, because we're pretty sure there isn't a label for whatever that is.
A shorthair tabby cat sleeping curled up like a shrimp. Same tabby sleeping on his back, sort of, except his hind end is trying to curl around back towards his head. It looks like someone forgot to read the instructions when assembling this cat.

I made sure to trim Jasper's claws before Dad's visit. I didn't really push the issue with Onyx because Onyx has way better claw discipline than Jasper. I forgot that Jasper is shy around strangers. He did not come within 10 ft of Dad the whole time 🤦.

Forced flash helps you get a decent picture, but also usually annoys the feline overlord. You end up with pictures of well defined, but angry kitties

Jasper, my tabby cat asleep on his back with his paws curled around the top of his head. Onyx, my black and white, but mostly black, cat buried in a fitted sheet that is not yet fitting onto the bed. Only his face is sticking out. Even his ears are hidden, so it's a bit difficult to tell he is even a cat. Both Jasper the tabby and Onyx the black and white cat have crammed into a Christmas themed cardboard cat-hut. Jasper is giving Onyx an annoyed squinty face. Onyx has two white toes on his rear paw which is sticking out of the front of the hut

FYI they make child-lock knob covers for stoves. I had to buy some for my stove to protect it from me. It kinda sticks out into the main walkway. I bumped a knob with my bag and turned on the gas without noticing 😬

🤣 I just retook the quiz. It asked the right question, but none of the 7-8 options were my answer, so I had to pick "other". Instead of knowing exactly which city, the map is like "IDK, could be anywhere but New England

Bar graph showing natural gas as the main source of electricity. Coal and nuclear are competing for a distant second and third place. There is a small bar for no hydroelectric renewables, but it is about a quarter the size of the nuclear bar.
