I gave a department seminar talk on Friday and the amazing art by @elliejameson.bsky.social made it so much easier for ecologists and systematists in the department to conceptualize necessary background for my work!

New hobby! I’m doing my best to continue fostering my creative side during my PhD by doing arts & crafts on evenings I need a break. I also do adult gymnastics! Having these hobbies helps me feel more passionate about science, and helps me not get burnt out.
