#2 Metroid Prime 4: Beyond
Way too much to say about this game, suffice to say I waited 18 years for this, some of it lives up to expectations, some exceeds, some sadly does not. But the fact it exists at all, and looks THIS GOOD, will never not he staggering. Now for Prime 5

My top 5 games of 2025
#3 Ghost of Yotei
I haven't put nearly as much time into this one as I'd like, but so far it feels like a perfect companion to the first game in terms of story and gameplay, it's probably the best looking game I've ever played, and it's Japan - I love Japan!

#4 Donkey Kong Bananza
Way outpaced my expectations, it's great to have a new 3D DK game after so long. Terrain destruction never gets old, it just keeps adding cool new levels and the final boss was insanely satisfying.

My replay of the Prime Trilogy is complete - god it was good to revisit. Love these games, especially Prime 2, so much.

If I read Discworld slowly enough I can still pretend there's more coming. GNU Terry Pratchett....
Book was great; it's a fan favourite for a reason. Witty, funny, great characters - didn't make any money reading it though; missed opportunity

Haven't played an AC since Black Flag in 2019. Love Egypt as a setting, Bayak is a compellingcharacter - story has some pacing issues at the end but still enjoyable. Resisting 100%ing it because good lord it's a big map
