Its so weird. The meat is pale and not bright orange like salmon usually is (I'd imagine due to their diet in the lake vs ocean diet) but it tasted like a really mild salmon??? It was surprisingly good and I'm looking forward to trying more
We finally had a chance to cook up some of the salmon we caught a we weeks ago and DAMN! It was tasty! Couldn't believe how good it was.
I admit I was skeptical seeing how many people say great lakes salmon / lake Ontario salmon isn't good. So I was expecting it to be mediocre. Pleasant surprise!

She may have mammary tumors and I'm spending about $600 in tests.
If they come back poorly, she has to get a $6000 surgery to remove all of her glands since the tumors are aggressive.
