I only managed 4 frames on 6 Sept with my "half frame" 645 camera for #wwhfpd25. The film then sat in camera until late Oct. I finally finished it, dev and printed 2 days ago.
Here is a 10x8.

Very early morning at the Loopy Shrew.

One from yesterday's print session.
(I posted this 20 mins ago ... photo from my phone. When I looked on my tablet, it was awful - soft from "phone shake"! Deleted. Hopefully this is better).
Exp 2004 T Max 100.
50mm lens. Y filter.
BnW. A track for farm vehicles runs away from the camera, with a wooden fence on the left of it. There are oak trees in the field to the left, and a wooded hillside in the distance. Strong, late afternoon October sun illuminates from the left - so there are shadows from the fence and trees.

I think I will muddle around in my darkroom today - I have a couple of newly developed films to contact and consider.
In the meantime .... here is an oldie from my stash.
A BnW image .... from a viewpoint looking at an angle through a passageway (backlit by evening sun) onto a courtyard that is mostly in shade. Cobbled surface and brick walls dominate. In the background is another passage, with a human silhouetted.

I am often drawn to glass, reflections and geometry.

I was recently out for a walk in a local deer park. I was not seeing any photographs .... then happened upon this tree. I think it is a horse chestnut (I was paying more attention to framing and exposure than species type).

Another image found from meandering around assorted back alleys. This is a fire escape exit from the back of a small, old theatre. Harsh, midday, mid-summer light ...... but that is what I had.

Finishing a print session, I experimented on how to recover prints from underdeveloped negs. Here are 3 guessed 5x7's and:
The Grade 2 contact.
Top G3, f11
Mid G4, f11
Bottom G4, f16 .... all the same exposure times.
Interesting .... if I ever need this.
4 Bnw prints. There is one contact sheet at G2, then 3 prints at differing grades and apertures .... all done so I can learn.

I was looking / searching through some boxes of prints and came upon this 10x8 that I had forgotten about. From about 2 or 3 years ago ....
A BnW print featuring 3 different styles of relatively new concrete and glass buildings. At the base is part of the bus station showing parking bays. Top left are vertical slots on the outside of a multi storey carpark. Both of these buildings are probably 70's vintage (?). Top right, and bolted on to the other two is a more modern hotel. Premier brutalist "style".

I have not printed any new work for a short while .... so here is one from my stash of older prints.
A BnW of a bridge spanning a river. The bottom half features the river, flowing slowly and darkly. There are reflections of the bridge, both the lit and dark, unlit elements. There are also reflections of white, out of sight buildings, to the left of frame. At the top is the bridge; a single span curve made of steel.

Finished. My hot take ... crikey. This is a raw, cut and thrust memoir describing a life that has mostly been a long and hard uphill drag. Why would it not be given racism, poverty, undiagnosed ADHD etc etc?

Although it rained every day during my recent week in the Lake District, there were times when it stopped and light appeared for 5 mins .... or an hour.
I grabbed what I could .....
