In Connecticut, the governor just vetoed a very reasonable anti-exclusionary zoning bill that his own staff helped negotiate. His press conference included ALL the usual exclusionary tropes. Not a word about segregation of course! Very disappointing performance: ct-n.com/ctnplayer.as...

Not only is this a cruel & mean-spirited first action by new HUD Sec. Scott Turner, at the end of the day it’s restricting access to shelter — the opposite of HUD’s mission.
