BREAKING: This is huge news, the EU's equivalent of the 🇺🇸Supreme Court's 2015 Obergefell v. Hodges ruling.

🇪🇺Court of Justice just ruled all 🇪🇺countries must recognise same-sex marriages granted in other member states.

This effectively legalises gay marriage across 🇪🇺

I thought the Avanti trains running the Glasgow-Carlisle route were more or less the same as CrossCountry's Voyagers, yet the Avanti trains are much easier to move around in... funny that.

Anyone have any recommendations for a relatively decent but cheap Pentium or MMX era laptop which doesn't suffer from crumbly plastics, good build quality, physical serial port and good MSDOS compatibility?
I need one for radio programming and my Libretto has Crumbly ABS Disease.

The catastrophic illegal waste dumping in Oxfordshire (see next post) is a direct result of the deregulation-by-stealth I wrote about in 2021, when my dead goldfish became a registered waste disposer. I warned it would let the mafia in. And here we are.🧵

Bought a power supply in ebay. It blew up on first use, tripped the electric and blew the plug fuse. So that'll be a dead short to earth or neutral.
Seller offered a replacement - "Oh no stock. How about an 80% refund"
me: No, it's dead. Full refund.
seller: "80% is best I do or boss beat me" […]
