In my family we call going grey "getting your glitter in" and I sort of love it. My great aunt styled her speckled white curls so well and I loved it.

I always find it interesting that these lessons exist within teaching Christianity, but almost nowt else. (Occasionally Hindu traditions gets it at A-level) Really strange how our idea of what is "right" to teach shifts.

Bart the spice brand has red pepper flakes or they are sometimes in the Sainsbury's selection.

Garam masala is always a good bet for Indian. Some chaat masalas have chilli in but the main thing you are wanting is the green mango powder (aamchur) and black salt which give a kick.

So a slightly different issue my sister has is that she cannot deal with spicy at all l. When I cook for her
Italian: red pepper flakes and up the herbs. Admit it won't be the same.

Indian: garam masala or chat masala with ginger and garlic.

Mexican: up the coriander and cumin. Mb green pepper

If you want heat try ginger, garlic and black pepper.

What cuisine is it? That can help with substitutes as you can tell what the chilli is doing.
