This is strange analysis by Sky News @mrjamesob.bsky.social on Reeves. It appears to be saying if someone doesn’t do what they say they will it’s somehow your fault if they don’t do it.

I remember John Moore. Thatcher gave him a job and he was found to be totally incompetent. Most commentators at the time considered him to have been a weak politician who had been promoted beyond his ability. One colleague compared him to 'a frightened rabbit mesmerised by oncoming headlights'.

Just got back from a week in Croatia 🇭🇷 and the difference from 8 years ago when we last went is striking. Fewer damaged and abandoned buildings far better infrastructure. Nice new clean motorways. Croatia is an excellent example of the success of being an EU member

People like Farage & Jenrick are not being straight with their supporters and the media is not at any point pointing out this problem. The anti immigrant supporters always point to Japan as an example but it’s economy is predicated to lose 0.8% growth every year due to an ageing population alone

It gives you an indication that Starmer’s speech was very good when Sky News are waxing lyrical about it @sturdyalex.bsky.social imho Kinnocks was better because Kinnock was and is one of the finest political orators I have had the pleasure to watch but this time we finally saw passion form Starmer

The reason @bethrigby.bsky.social the Lib Dem’s are not cutting through is highlighted by this week. Lib Dem’s have had an annual conference although you wouldn’t know it but Sky would rather focus on the Reform Press Conference. You give far more coverage to a party of 4 MPs than one of 72
