The idea that the West “lost credibility” by not bombing Assad after the chemical attacks is absurd. Whatever credibility existed evaporated with the Iraq invasion, endless hypocrisy on Israel/Palestine, and abandoning Libya to chaos after Gaddafi’s fall etc etc. Selective memory is a real problem.

Stricter rules and punishments over campus protests seem to be working. Universities have seen just under 950 protest events this semester, compared to 3,000 in the spring.
