New kubernetes lab! 5x Pi Zero 2w's. Been wanting to deep dive it for a while, and this is a nice isolated environment to mess around with k3s.

Last entry of the night. Best I can do at this time of night. Little DC motor in a hollowed out lemon. #yarrbooty

Some test footage of Vigo rotating his head to all the extents. This is straight from Godot. I generated a depth map of the painting, then masked out the head, painted some extra details on the face and then rotate around the top of the neck directly in the shader.

A few months ago my brother and I made this virtual bike experience for a family member. Used a cheap off the shelf mini bike for physiotherapy by replacing the trip computer with an ESP32.

The playback speed is adjusted based on the pedaling. The dots on the screen show current and target speed.

I just brought my Formula Pi autonomous racer back to life! This was such a fun competition when it was running.

Now running the latest Raspberry Pi OS. Raspberry Pi 3, RPi Camera and 4 big motors direct driving wheels. A solid platform! What should I do with it next?

I worked with Sam on this. I did the lighting. Fun fact: The roots of the code are actually the fluorescent lighting code from Quake 1! I ported it to python and then offset a few of the LEDs in the sequence to give it that pulsating effect.

Made a haunted frame for Halloween! It features Vigo The Carpathian from Ghostbusters 2. Made it with some others that I do a weekly makers space with. Frame is 3D printed with some painting. I handled the software. Uses Godot, Python and YOLO to track people and look at them constantly.
