I fixed it.

take that depression.
Save functionality is almost working.
I think there's a clash of coding somewhere that's preventing the player object from spawning in the correct x/y position.
Everything else loads and saves though.

One of many new gameplay options based on your feedback: Windowed Combat!

Toggle this option to keep the combat screen within the same pillarbox as the game world—making the transition to random encounters less jarring.

Here's the most of the Title Screen. (delete save function does nothing yet because I've yet to add a save system.)
Path Warning is just a friendly way to prevent people being locked out of certain routes.

This is just a test of cutscene triggers happening.
The yellow is a permanent trigger and will always occur.
The blue is a temp trigger, and only activates once. Added a global flag so the trigger stays gone after leaving the room and returning!
(next up is attempting to activate dialogue)
