60 more universities have received letters warning they will be investigated for their response during pro-palestinian protests. I expect more targeted universities receiving massive cuts.

Look, I love Executive Orders. And I [huge eyeroll] helped write a couple. But EOs are not laws. They are polite requests to executive branch agencies who if they want to, can say, “we are working to achieve the objectives outlined in the Executive Order, and will update you in the future. [laughs]”
Executive Orders are not laws.

They are not legally binding.

They are a way for a President to signal their interpretation of actual laws. And if they're not blatantly unconstitutional, they can have some force in the executive branch.

They cannot take over the legislative or judicial powers.

"No probationary nurses were fired but it was a bloodbath for the lab work people."

"Turnaround times for bloodwork and disease labs increased dramatically" - which affects patient care and clinical trials.

The Hutch🩸is a very important place in my life…I’m on my second life because of the incredible talented researchers, doctors nurses and staff ❤️☮️ I’m worried that we will lose good people to diseases that are curable and lose the talent that develops the cures
