This probably sounds very curmudgeonly, but I hate BWW Community Theatre Awards season. People act like it's a huge honor but it's all self nominated & the voting is a popularity contest. I don't mind people having fun, but making a huge deal out of it just rubs me the wrong way. #theatre #bwwawards

Writing a pitch to direct my favorite obscure #musical at a local community #theatre & finding it incredibly hard to articulate why I love & want to direct this show.
Unless you've seen it, you can't understand why "It's an intimate, sweet love story that's easy to fall in love with" is sufficient.
