I really enjoyed Girl Bands Forever on BBC2 - especially Mel Blatt's contributions - but I'd argue it could/should have been a four-parter and made room for Girls Aloud, but that's just me.

Good news: found this Kiki Dee budget label re-jig of her 1970 Tamla LP, Great Expectations. These are two a penny, I gather, but I've never found one in the wild*
