What a freaking year

[December 20th, 1944] Fritz Pfeffer, German dentist and Jewish refugee who hid with Anne Frank and her family and the Van Pels family during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands, died from enterocolitis in the Neuengamme concentration camp at the age of 55.
