This is how it happened in the U.S. People quietly supported Trump in 2016 then once he won, the floodgates owned and half the country proudly showed what terrible people they really were. It’s unbelievable to me that people could rejoice in incompetence and cruelty.

I had a girlfriend who cheated on me and left me for an actor she’d fallen for during a play. The fact it later turned out he was gay and ran up a $3,500 phone bill calling dial-a-porn did not actually make me feel any better This is the same. Americans ELECTED this clown and enabled this.

Not me. I’m moving to England in June. Not the least because my health insurance went up to $30k a year. But any country that would elect and support Trump and his fascists is not for me.

I’m a birthright citizen. My parents immigrated from England in the 50’s and it took them 10-years to get their citizenship even though my dad worked in the defense industry. I’m also a birthright citizen of the UK and am moving there next year. Fuck Trump.
