Work: Decarbonisation and circularity
Life: Making a small patch of North Wales wilder. Often found outdoors.
But it turns out swift bricks are actually referred to as Universal Nest Boxes. I’m wondering why that term isn’t used, to refer to their far wider benefit and site applicability.

Worth noting we built in bat and sparrow boxes, plus swallow roosts in our home. No swift boxes as not site appropriate.

Hope so. For me I guess at least there will be a Green on the paper this time, that’s progress. We are deep in Llŷr Gruffydd’s region though, so I’m probably dreaming if i think there is any possibility other than a Plaid x Reform outcome.

Relevance might be tough but they need to mobilise and communicate much more. Their visibility rurally is non existent, social media presence - key in rural communities - same (eg I can only find this for Clywd @nwwgreenparty.bsky.social, FB??). They shouldn’t give up on us rural voters.

Thankfully Plaid did it without fingers being pointed at the Green/LibDem vote, thanks to the Labour collapse.

The significant rise in Reform votes is still a big concern, cannot be complacent about this even if there is some more hope that can taken from this.

I’d find it hopeful if a Green finished above Conservatives in that area, whilst Plaid pulled in enough Labour to win on their own merits.

Maybe we ask Labour to stand aside because if their vote shifts to Plaid it would secure the win?

Maybe the significance of Reform winning will be to waking up Labour that they rapidly need to wake up?

I get it. I’m just frustrated more broadly with the “vote for us or you get reform” threat that people like Labour and plaid here use.

I agree only Plaid can defeat them, but I don’t think the blame can be out on the Greens standing or Green voters. Plaid need to pull in more ex-Labour, than force out the only other left alternative imo. I voted green in our constituency in GE, because it was first time the stood.

I don’t believe the way a party wins is by removing options for voters. Should be done on their own merits. Should there really be only one left-ish party standing?
If Plaid want the Green vote, they need to be more ambitious. Work for it. And less in the pocket of NFU Cymru for sure.

Why can you forgive a Lib Dem but not a Green, when the polling shows Greens are ahead of them?

I understand, I am not putting it on individuals making their choice. My concern is legacy auto is pushing PHEVs, it slows innovation and roll out of a fit for purpose charging infrastructure.
