In my experience, there are plenty of hot pot options that honestly you can just eat hotpot too and I think it's only a couple of dollars more (not more than $10) to be forced to get the hot pot/bbq combo as the entire table has to pay for all options. And the ginseng hot pot broth is the best one.

I suspect he was coming from the world where he gets called in to fix the problems from using the wrong paints etc from people who cannot afford the fix. Living in a house built by a mason, they made a lot of choices that were great for self-repairs by a tradesman and totally out of whack for 2025.

My house is stucco and brick and stone and when I had someone come do some repairs, the first thing he said was "I don't care if you never hire me again, don't let anyone ever convince you to paint the masonry, *especially* the stucco."

A lot of the people who do the opposite go to workshops and seminars about trying to be a fraction as successful as you are at what you do, though - having sat in those workshops, it is NOT as smooth or easy as people want to believe, give yourself so much credit for making a difference.

I tell everybody to stop archiving old files online.
